RS Tuner + BMC CDA.

I`m a bit concerned so i wanted to collect some opinions on here. I`m running a BMC CDA with a cold feed pipe on my clio 172 cup. I have positioned the pipe pointing down towards the bottom of the engine bay to minimise turbulence.
I have just bought the RS Tuner kit and installed the 98RON calibration file and I am running the car on VPower. I want to know if anyone else is running a BMC CDA OK with the 98RON map? Do i need to get Henk to program me a special calibration file if I have the BMC CDA?, i`m just worried the engine might run 'lean' at higher rpm because of the cooler air feed. Am i worrying about nothing here?

Im Running 98ron Map on my Cup with a K&N Gen 2 fitted and have no issues.

I think the maps are designed to work with stage 1 tune anyway(exhaust, air filter)

I am running also henk software on a 2003 RS, I had a sp-08 by BMC I installed it and the only thing is it was making a very nice sound, but no power increase. I tested it against a K&N insert, a Green insert and for me the best is a ecspace V6 box with a green insert in it.

So I would not ask henk to make you a custom program because it will not make you more Bhp......

My sound now is not so nice but the power is noticable compared to the BMC !

I hope you can do something with the advice !

no need for a special map with just air filter. The air filter (if in working order and genuine) makes very little difference to power/fueling.
