RS tuner help!!

I have just got my RS tuner, done a few live data runs and I am now ready to put the 98ron.cal file on the ecu.

Software version : 6100
Calibration version : 2A06
VIN: CB1N

Had a look on the RS tuner site at the files and cannot find software for my software version

Any ideas?

I upgraded to 6500_5404 .rst

Then wrote 6500_5404 RON98 june 2009.cal

Ben try the newer map, 6500_5B03 RON98 july 2009.cal. Worked out well on my RR run the other day, gained 5bhp and 1lb/ft of torque over an older map AND I had a more restrictive exhaust on plus put my cat back on!

I dont have the box anymore mate, got it just for a remap to help with the inlets until i save for ITB'S

I just upgraded to 6500, then wrote the .cal file, and away you go.

*Make sure you make a back up of your original ecu, just incase.

Turn off anything thats not needed...stereo fan etc etc...

Back up ecu first, rst and .cal files!
Load 6500.rst file
load Cal file.. jobs a goodun

Is it worth putting the battery on charger?

It's only 2 weeks old btw

I put my battery on charge while doing it, was just trying to prevent a problem really. It takes around 20-25 minutes, so it should be ok without really

Well, it is all remapped now.

Somehow manged to lose 7kw of power so it is only 102kw now compared to 109kw before.

It revs to 7500rpm and the torque is 177nm.

I thought you gained power with this lol?

Don't take the self bhp thing witin rstuner as gospel!! There's too many variables as to what can go wrong!

Seems that measurement was faulty. They dont peak @ 7k+

Straight out the horses mouth there mate. fast chip themselves. the car is torquey than before but it now redlines at 7.5k. im the mate from Guvna's Car. we did it together car felt quicker but RS Tuner said otherwise.

It has certainly made a difference, the car is a lot more responsive now.

I highly doubt it has lost power.

nah it aint i am wondering the chris if uv lost some top end instead wud account for RS tuners reported power loss.
