RS Tuner Stock Issues

Car  Clio182 Astra2 GTE16v
Has any one else experienced stock issue with the RS tuner kit from Fastchip. Have been keen to purchase, even email notification from supplier there still is no stock available, really fustrating as there is a discount currently available.
Will now look at a set up from a tuner with RR at more cost obviously.
Can any one recommend a good quality tuner, travel no problem but set up needs to be spot on. Thanks Gibbo

hold out for an rs tuner, unless you got anything over breathing mods not really worth getting anything more than a group n reflash or the rs tuner group n set up OR the 98 ron one.

i would wait for an rs tuner to come up save yourself £100 for being patient.

RS TUNER (ANY GOOD)
hi there

just brought an rs tuner for my clio 197 ( i duno how i managed to get one) i belive a stroke of luck.

has anyone got one and are they good i would think so with the way there selling out all the time

1. are they easy to use.
2. is ther much gain.
3. and worth the money.
4. also whats the difference in a remap from a garage to doing it your self???

This seems to be the place alot of folk go to http://www.rstuning.co.uk/
Hear nothing but good things about them

+1 Paul did an amazing job on my car after the cams, would'nt hesitate to send my mates there!!

One thing to bear in mind with RS Tuner too is that if you need your map tweaking its got to be flashed to a usb, sent off, sent back uploaded etc..... Not a live map where as Pauls is and can be done there and then!

Well its not only the re-map facility that you should focus on. Try considering other benefits as well like live data and performance monitoring and logging of your engine which is a really cool feature indeed.

Some of you will ask what does that gotta do with my performance enhancements?

Well check my RS Tuner perf. graph when my O2 sensor was broken;

And this is the final graph after the O2 sensor was fixed;

And I am sure all of you know how critical an O2 sensor is for the mpg and the performance of your car ;)

So first mitigate your leaks and losses then go for the GroupN map. And send your data logs to Henk and get a custom one for a better improvement.

Hmm 02 Sensors... anyone know what voltage they should read??

My rear stay at around about 400mv yet my front one fluctuates between 48.8mv and 751.52mv

Is that something to be concerned about??!

Sorry for the off topicness but it was kind of related.

Bye george managed to get one ordered this morning. Read the manual looks a bit complicated. Quick question does the kit come with a cd with the driver , ecu and rst and cal files on or do you need to upload these from the RS tuner internet page. Ta

just download the software mate, it takes two mins. The driver then just needs installing and its all good. Have a read through the manual regarding the correct files.

download this.....

And the driver....

And jobs a good un.

You need to connect the RSTuner unit up to your Pc/Laptop and tell it where the driver is thats the only thing.

Also if you download the software/driver you can open it and have a play "without" having the dongle part connected... you just have to put the "libusb0.dll" into the same folder as the RStuner .exe file.

You also have to download the relevant .rst and .ecu files for your type of car.

And upload them... usually a quick email to henk saying what you've got done and he'l tell you what to download and upload to the car :)

Both are ok. Those are the values you should be seeing. So no worries mate. If your front O2 sensor would not fluctuate, then you would have a problem.
