RS tuner

This has probably been asked before but I can't find any threads on it. Anyway here goes,I'm planning on buying a second hand RS tuner of a boy on here. If I buy it second hand what do I need to buy from fastchip? The unlock code I know but do I also need to pay for a map as well? Just trying to work out if I'm better just forking out for a brand new one or not.

Youl need the license if its locked also youl need the map in think i paid £81 for license and 98ron map

Is there anyway of telling if your car has been mapped already?
Don't want to fork out of its already been done. .

Once its warmed should idle at 1000rpm and redline at 7600
