Rs192??

So been doing some research, and the rs192 with a de cat seems to sound good, but in some videos it's seems to sound really noisy!

Are they actually much quieter than the yozzas?

Never had a yozza but I've got the rs exhaust. I use mine daily and its ace. Not noisy unless reqd and decatted too. I think the ktec induction kit drowns the exhaust out lol. I'd recommend it mate.

Mine is loud, Sounds epic though.

Slightly droney at 70 on a motorway which can be annoying.

I would say it was louder than my Ktec stealth on my 172.

Mine will be used daily as well, and thinking of the ktec induction kit. Just don't want it to be too loud when its not needed to be

I've got a decatted yozza, and mark (dr Jekyll) has a decatted rs192. Whenever we go out or do a tunnel run my yozza s***s all over it. Rs192 decatted isn't loud at all IMO.

Ive got the RS192 and Ktec induction and I would say it fits what you are after. It exactly the same set up I wanted. I can cruise without it being loud and when I put my foot on the floor the ktec rumbles its tits off.

Videos are in my project thread, search my posts.

:( lol

The difference is noticeably loud with the yozza on comparing the 2. Have a look on YouTube of a vid I posted up of your 2 mentioned systems and you will notice the difference. I can't do it as I'm on my phone by its called clio 182 drive by or something like that.

Whete are you based? The best thing to do is to hear it in person imo.

Yeah that's a good comparison video actually. It's called Clio 182 drive by I think. It's in 720 aswell iirc so it's good quality.

I like the sound of a decatted rs192 it's nice. But it's far from loud. It's very deep and resonates a bit though

I've had an RS192 with a decat and it's quieter than my current cat-back Yozza system. As metnioned above you do get a drone at around 70mph and the fitment is poor.

Very odd with people that says it drones, I don't have anything negative at all to say about it tbh. Good system.

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
you have to use military spec zip ties on the rear hangers to get the tailpipes to sit properly

and a body-jack to get the brace bar between the tailpipes fixed at the right distance.

It comes in too many pieces. I expect to tak an hour to change a 182 exhaust. A scorpion will take double that

My 192 doesn't drone at all (with standard cat) I can barely hear much difference in the car than with the standard exhaust, though I have heard a few people say it sounds nice outside.

As for fit, I'm with the others on this one. Over the last three years I've tried and failed numerous times to line it up under the car in different ways to get the rear tail pipes to fit right and without cable ties or doing something to the rear hangers I've failed. My most recent attempt was two knackered hangers cable tied into position and then filling the spaces in the rubber with tiger seal. So far they've held up ok (about 8 months) but the positioning isn't as good as I had it just with cable ties!

They are much quieter than a Yozza, in answer to your original question. Decatted Yozza = seriously loud. Yozza + cat = loud enough, I'd say louder than a decatted 192.

Haha the Yozza is going soon! Way too loud for me! (and the hefty Manchester Police presence... last time I got pulled he said he didn't see me 'gunning it', he heard me!). :dapprove:
