RS2 Inlet to Standard

Alright, I want to have the Rs2 inlet removed from my 182 and go back to a standard set up. Is this a fairly simple job? The inlet was fitted by the previous owner and i dont have any of the standard parts, so would have to track these down.
Is this a job most garages could do, or more of a specialist job?

Apparently i need some 'paperwork' otherwise it cant be done :S

dont forget youl need a remap to suit when you go back to standard inlet too as the map for the rs2 will be much difference.

Will it require a complete new remap, or just involve removing the current one? not entirely sure how it works.

It would need to go back to the original mapper, as they'll have a copy of the ori file.

Shouldnt cost you all that much to put back to standard. You'll need an upper and lower inlet

Thanks, is it worth picking up some matched inlets or just completely standard?

My girlfriend called a garage to enquire about it while i was at work, and supposedly I need a 'peice of paper' that 'came with it' or else the job cant be done as could damage the entire engine. Does anyone have any idea what this is about?

Yeah, I'd give that garage a wide berth, as they have zero idea of what they are talking about.

Piece of paper. FLOL. Take it to a specialist off here. Is it on the standard ECU? Take a pic of your engine bay and post it up as it will be easier to advise what bits and pieces you need.

Lol...been running one for a few years now mate.....didn't need to modify a thing.
Unless you mean unwrap a bit so stuff would reach...but no cutting involved.

At no point did I state it needed cutting. But the loom will need returning back to standard.
