What's happening
Isn't henk doing custom remaps anymore .
I've had piper cams fitted along with timing belt recently on the basis ide be able to get a custom map from henk (already have rstuner +2ron maps ).
Is this the norm ?

In all honesty, you can't (properly) map a car remotely without a wideband input. So his 'custom' maps were more of an educated guess than a custom map.

No anyone with a good reputation would be fine.

Can anyone give me some decent remapping company's I can contact . Within a couple hour of mansfield area .
Or is there just rstuning ? What's there pricing .

You may have to put the standard map back on to get it mapped elsewhere as the rstuner locks the ecu.

Reading through the bottom link suggests that once it's locked, it's locked for good. Only way to get a remap from elsewhere is to swap ecu, uhc and keys to a non locked set.

It's sometimes possible to boot load them. But this isn't always successful.
