i am running 6100 - 2a06 and im unsure which maps to install.

If you look in the manual it explains which version you can safely upgrade to

Read software through a few times, u will need to run a rst. file 1st the a cal. file afterwards

the rst. file will need to start in "6" iirc

When i did mine it seemed a bit more straightforward (as mine is a 182) so make sure you do read through properly mate

6400 group n rst, then the 6400 .cal file from feb 08 IN THAT ORDER.

When you have written to the ecu the group n, start the car and let it idle for 2mins, then out the cal file on and away you go.

Im going to give flashing my ECU a go tonight.
GazM did you flash with new software or just the .cal file. I had the RSTuner hooked up to the car over lunch and its reporting the software version as 8100. I don't know whether just to flash the 8100.cal file or upgrade the software to 8200 and then flash the 8200.cal file.

As an aside has anyone noticed if the remap effects the emissions during an MOT or will the car still pass.

Flashed the ECU last night. Seems to have gone OK apart from the usual problem of cruise control not working. How long should I give it to sort itself out or is it worth sending Henk an email ?

wait a bit..if u really don't need cruise control.
I've heard it takes 5 do 10 trips for things to "settle down".
If it doesnt work in 2 or 3 days, e-mail him.
