Hi

I just backing up my ecu atm

it is version 7300

i have the 7300.cal file to go with my ecu, but the groupnfile is 6400.rst

can i still use this???

I believe you MUST stay on the same software version. Ie rst.

So any rst starting 7xxx, you can not downgrade to 6xxxx as far as im aware.

group N was only done for the 6xxxx software, the 7xxxx only supports the calibration series. So your only choice is 7300_5E10 RON98 may 2008 .cal

Henk: can you let us know what the revisements were in the latest .cals files? Any improvements?

1st impressions of the .cal file

no idea what the old one was like i have just used the new one

Uploaded it and the SERV and TC light stopped on.

But the car so much smoother, and pulls loads better now

need to gave it another few more runs may improve more??

but defo impressed with the way things are currently

was just the 1st time i started the car

going good atm and improves every time i drive it

takes 10 cycles to settle down. Im on may .cal file so might update tonight if there is improvement to be had

I had my engine management light come on this evening using this updated 7300map.

Done about 70miles on it currently

has anyone else had any issues with the up dated 7300 map??

looks like ill hold out, plug rstuner in, what fault codes has it read?

when i hooked it up

i got

THe only that was showing was the limiter error.

Then after a few seconds the other one appeared

"initialisation backup memory" - whats that about???

i tried to clear them but they still there but the Management light has gone off currently.
