Before anyone says do a search or look on the site i aready have but i just want some information from people that have actually used them.

How easy are they to set up am i right in thinking i download the software plug it in and choose from 3 different files?

Ive heard about n group and 98.ron but which is best?

Before i use it am i able to backup standard settings so i can reload them if needed.

Will it pass an mot with the maps?

Did mine on the weekend. VERY easy to do, 40mins and job done.

Yes you can backup the original map, and I would advise you do this

I put the 98ron map on and its fine so far

He remapped my RS and my dad's 1.6, I am extremely pleased with the results.

The 98ron map should still be fine even with 95ron fuel. Apparently there's a safe guard in the map to compensate for lower octane fuel, or so Ive read!

I have a tiny amount of 95ron fuel in my car before I mapped it (as I couldnt get 98! ), and it ran fine

I will always be running 98ron so it didnt concern me

then you gonna need a custom map for RON 95. But Clio RS's are optimized for RON 98 fuel by factory default.

Just use the Ron 98 map.. it'l be hardly noticeable.

Do they f**k! I use normal tesco crap sometimes. 95 ron that is.

I never noticed a difference.
