rt top speed

i dunno if anyone else has this problem but my car has a sh*t top speed, u gotta rag the tits out of it to hit 100.0-60 mind u is pretty quick. but it does at 80-90.need to know whats going on.

Same as essex lad for mine, 120 tops with 15s on, got filter, zorst and decat tho, before decat itd struggle top end, seems to have freed up a bit without a cat. Takes forever to get there anyway!

ok right at the end of the day its an rt, they aint the quickest cars in the world, but that dont mean they are bad i have an rt, but have a new engine in it, if u want to make it quicker, u need to fit a decat, air filter (just a replacement filter like a green coton 1 no sh*t induction kits) and a chip, i had all that and it made it much quicker, i still have my chipped ecu if u are after 1, make me an offer.



but at the end of the day u wont get it over 120mph.

The new 1.2s are quicker, I will defend Rob as I have raced him on the Motorway on the way home from a meet!

Also after being in a cup and chasing a 1.2 (new shape again) I was suprised that he did as well as he did!

My old RT hit 115 on a slight downhill, 100 came easy, mid range power was pretty good for a 1.4, 0-60 not exactly lightning at about 11 secs but once it was going it was pretty respectable.

(I would have guessed Rob was joking though mate... stay slinky!)

i have a de-cat zorst and airfilter. iv beaten about 3 of the new 1.2 16v. i raced one guy down the dual carriage way , i was 4s up and he was on his own. still crept past him, (only just).want a chip tho.

i gotta 1.2 mk1 with stainless exhaust n a custom indution kit from a tvr cerberra n i can hit bout 111mph on a nice cold clear nite! im quite impressed considering the book says that it should only do 96tops!!!
