rubbing wheels

hi any1 help me pleaseeee

i own a mark 1 1.4 rt, which i have had lowered 40 mm all round, and have got 16 inch wheels on it with 195/45 tyres. i have had my arches sorted out to stop the scrubbage i got, however my drivers side rear wheel occasionally catches the fuel pipe behind it. anything i can do!?!???!?!!?!?!?!?!

there is a plastic thing that prevents from the wheel touching the fuel pipe. Did you took that off? if so, get it back on. You can try to pull the fuel pipe back and get this plastic "shield" at the max backwards.

Had to do this on mine, and I drive 185/55 R14... can imagine what is on 16".

btw, way in hell do you ppl just go to bigger wheels?? The only positive thing I can think of is looks... with a lot of negative ones. More expensive, sometimes more height, more fuel consumption, less power at the ground etc etc... dont see why go above 15" on a clio. :/

hehe thats just UK style Butre! Its kind of all or nothing, stick with 15s or go big. But I must say that my 18s are a great ride compared to the stock 15s. Really.
