running a bit hot...

Since I replaced my original valver engine ( snapped cambelt... arssssss!!)with a 16v out of a 19 i have noticed it runs a bit hotter.. not to hot but definetly higher on the gauge.. is this to be expected or have i maybe got a problem with the new engine??

Did you fit a different thermostat?
