Running components without an AMP?

Wondering if i should get some compnenets for christmas - however, will be gettin' an AMP in the new year - was wondering if i can run components without an amp for a while?

You could but they probally wont sound any different from your renault speakers tbh. id just save the hassle and fit them when you get your amp.

I ran mine off my Alpine before I had any amps - much better with the amp of course

Will be fine without an amp, the components should come with a wiring diagram

Well for christmas i got a Pioneer HU (P7000), Pioneer Components and a 4 channel amp + wireing kit... so i feel i have to use it

I did it temporarily in the meg before I put the amp in for the full range side of things and couldn't believe the difference it made amping them over running off the hu.
