Whats the point

just seen a mr2 with 18s on the back and 17s on the front?

Should i have 14s on the front and 16s on the back?:p

WHY indeed? I can understand Mazda going back in time to the Wankel, but the Penny Farthing?
 


Well..at the end of the day you could get the same size as the front wheel but wider..so having a taller wheel isnt neccessary ??

I thought it must be because of tyre restrictions. For example the Lotus Esprit has a an 18x11 inch rear wheel and a 17x8.5 front wheel..maybe you cant get tyres which cater for 17x11? I dunno..a guess!

Well f1 cars do the same thing, Im sure theres a good reason, rear wheels drive so need grip and the front steer, you lose handling with bigger alloys
