Running R888's on the front and Yoko Spec2's rear?

Fucked the front Yoko's I have today on a trackday and need replacing quickly.

Am I going to notice if i fit R888's to the front for a month then change the rears to R888's next month. It'll only be minor road driving in the time?!

you will be fine running them for a month. just watch the back end.

shouldn't notice any imbalance in normal driving. if pushed, the back end will be more stable/progressive than the front as track tyres aren't up to much until they're up to temperature (which can't be maintained on road).
good idea to put the 888s on the front

I thought they may be a bit slippy if I changed the tyres round, Cheers, I'm now gonna look for prices!

Tyre traders are £61 quid each plus tenner delivery, so I got the same as from ebay really!
