I recently had some minor work done on my car main - match so nothing to heavy. However now I have lost loads of power and under heavy throttle the car sounds awful. it sounds like it struggling to breathe - be it intake or outlet... cant really tell. ..
the result is very little power and the noise around 4000rpm is so off putting..
I've been through 3 different filters, one being a cheapy ripspeed universal cone type one that actually made a huge difference - the car was running smooth with awesome response. But over time the performance has dwindled away again now leaving me open to Zetec's =(
My gut feeling is intake from running ITG - ripspeed back to standard filter and even no filter..
Anyone think of some obvious things to check before I hit a rolling road.
