Rust repair

Looked at a Fabian vrs estate this morning. Looked generally ok, but there rust along the edge of the bootlid. Assuming the cars otherwise solid, any idea (roughly)what a repair will cost?

How old is the car? Would it be a paint warranty issue?

Colour of the car?

May be easier to find a replacement boot instead of painting it.

Race blue. 5yrs old, so may well be covered by warranty, but a rough price will help figure out what to offer him.
