My current OEM discs have major rust issues round the edges. As i'm looking at getting Brembo HC next is it possible to protect the edges of the discs to prevent this, or are the HC's less prone to rusting?
it just looks crap when you look throught the wheel and there is a lovely read edge to them. Bedford was the main culprit. Looked trophy red after that
I masked up as much of the disc face as i could, Painted with Halfruads black high temp paint on the center of the disc and on the edge, Left to dry then went for a good braking session, Still looks good.
rubb it down untill its shiny then spray them, dont worry about getting paint on the discs it does no harm it just rubs off the first time you touch the brakes.
