They never go back perfectly if taken off in my experience.
Iirc it’s the metal in the seal that’s rusting and not the door.
Try @renaultpartsdirect for a price on a new seal if they do them anymore.

That's daft. I'll probably just leave it for that price as it'll only end up doing the same thing within a year...
Most likely that it's the seal, I noticed mine is starting to bubble on the passenger side, looks unsightly.
The seals appear to be one piece and go around the whole glass and down inside the rear of the frame, not surprised it is so expensive judging by Renault parts.
I've not looked into it yet, so as does anyone know if the glass have to come out to fit a new seal in?
