Popping a thread up so I can keep track now Im slowly starting to do things to my 200. Progress won't be quick though!

Picked her up in December 2012 from Steve at R-Sport, 100% Standard bar an ITG Panel filter.

First full wash/decon etc a week or so into ownership.

Then not a lot happened, just enjoyed the experience. Brilliant car to drive.

3 year service, plugs and pads at 519 in March, should be heading back up to Dan soon too.

Then attended InCarNation on the CS stand, down in Brighton.

As you can see above, wearing the new rubber, Yokohama AD08's.

Then things got semi interesting. Took my car to Detail Chris for an enhancement detail and application of CQuartz Finest Ceramic Sealant - Turned out lovely!

I then decided, I have the show and the go, but no roar. So chopped out the centre silencer. This didn't really tickle my pickle, so I added a decat to the standard system:

Again, Im not really happy with the sound. Its loud, but just too tinny. I have a K-TEC Cat-back system being delivered this week, should sort that out!

Made 186.4BHP on the rollers

Then this week, decided to make her more practical:

Thats about it so far.

So in summary;-

No Silencer
KTEC pro performance exhaust and decat
Enhancement detail + CQuartz
Rear semi-stripped

Not a lot has happened over the last year, as I honestly believe these cars don't require much, they're so good out of the box! I do have some plans going forward though..

I have a lot of spare interior that I plan on spraying gloss black to make the inside a bit nicer. Also planning on getting my wheels refurbed as the paint is slightly flaking from a previous not great refurb in gloss black. I also have Silvervisions sitting here, just need to get out and fit them.

Can't think of much else I want/need to do at the moment. Please do post suggestions though as open to most things. C&C welcome, some more pics:

Yep, all home made. I litterally bought some wood, then cut it to shape with a jig, then covered it in felt. I thought it would be a lot harder than it actually was!

Its two bits of wood though, first bit I cut to match the shape and size of my boot matt, ready made template. Then I did a rough outline of the remaining floor and bobs your uncle

-.- I did indeed. Originally shined the side only. Fudged that up and loads epwent on the tyre and it looked crap, so I just did it all. Not a daily occurance don't worry! Looked nice though.

I know its only a little thing, but get those silvervisions fitted Ry. We did it on Ian's old UR197 and it really did make a difference, front and rear.

Tyler did the same exhaust mod on he's old 197 that you've currently got and it did have a nice back pop and crackle but as you said, it does sound tinny. You'll be pleased with your new ktec system

Rather embarrasingly I have had my silvervisions for over 6 months now! Front and back bulbs too

I know the fronts are very easy to access, the rears feel like they need a real tug or could be bonded on which is awkward.

And yeah the echaust is louder and really raspy, I have had a couple of people say they really like it, but equally, some people have asked if my exhaust is just broke

Still, ordered last week and K-Tec rang me to say expect delivery this week

So fingers crossed.

The rears are tougher put they do just pull off. Have a snickers then give it a go!

Like the boot floor, but 2 seats isn't the most practical lol

I have an arrangement with Gorms that when he's back from his tour I may be getting his Projectors and HID's - Fingers crossed he's still up for it when he's back.

And I use my 200 as an epic work van!

get that tyres shine off! rots tyres and if you corner hard, you've got oil between the tyre and the road. dreadful crap

It is surprisingly louder without the seats. When I get my catback fitted I may have to re-fit the seats, will see if I can handle it.

My K-TEC Pro cat bak arrived today so I got it fitted asap! It's on now, had a bit of a pita getting it to fit though, couldn't get the brackets to line up.

Can see it being a right big come MOT time getting my decat off!! Any tips? ;(

Now then, the issue.

Couldn't get the bugger in, ended up giving it a thump and the decat sleeve slipped in a bit more, so we continued:

One slight issue, the extension pipes that sit on the exhaust pipe and go down the diffuser poking out the end. They rattle. Lots. Any idea how to stop that?

Fixed the rattle, was jut the tailpipe a bit loose so tightened up and all good. Sounds great

Next project is to make the interior a bit of a nicer place to be. Cup interior is a bit bland in stock form.

Removed all the dash trim, centre fascia plate, dash clock surround and vent surrounds.

Going for gloss black all round, hopefully will look nice. If not I have spares too, but they're from a FF 200 so have a start stop button which I have no use for.

We'll see

Bit of an update. Essentially, I have been incredibley lazy, and the above bits are still off the car, some primed, some black, some notnstarted yet

Dropping them all off tomorrow for Hydro Dipping, so will update when I get them back.

next on the list will be to get the bits between the frnt and rear windows re-wrapped, in gloss black this time. Also looking to get some very light tints on the back.

Picked up the interior bits tonight, really pleased with them. I have fitted all bar the Clio surrounds and door handles.

Some crap pictures in the dark, will stick a separate thread up this week with better 'day time' pictures.
