S video better than SCART?

I have HDMI for connecting my PS 3 to the tv however my dvd video is only scart or S video. Which type of cable will provide the best quality?

scart is a higher quality than s-video

Scart would go between s-video and component

Non RGB scart is bog standard composite.

it has all the pins, there are no gaps on the scart. Does this mean it is RGB?

it means it can do it yes if your dvd player supports it

Cable will probably be wired for it, but IIRC a lot of sets require the RGB scart to be on AV/1 as normally not all the sockets are wired for RGB.

seriously, if you have an option between s-vid and scart, use scart.
