I have a fibreglass bootlid on the way so have no rear wiper an also hve no rear wiper so I have no need for the bulk of the rear loom.

am I safe trimming this down to leave just the rear lights?

ive done this in my ph1, i just traced all the unused wires back to the plug to the dash loom and pulled them out!
i removed

Rear speakers
Rear heated Screen
Rear Lock
Rear wiper
Door Sensors
Handbrake light
Boot light

and basically just left the fuel pump and two rear rights!

Magic. Thanks.

All I'll need is rear lights and fuel pump as I'm running polycarbs with no ancillaries.

Where is the dash loom plug?

i could be way out but i do remeber there being a plug on the passenger side.
prise of boot release handle and unclip door sill trim and behind hat is a mutli plug where the rear speaker cables and other electrical goodies go, i pressume that the one :)
