Safe to drive with a faulty injector?

Isit safe to drive my car with a faulty injector?

When you say faulty... What is wrong with it? Normally if you have a damaged / down injector the car will go into limp mode and be pretty much undrivable.

The diag machine said open circuit cylinder 4 injection valve . Mines not gone into limp mode or anything jus runs a little more lumpy and use alot more fuel .

If its using a lot more fuel the injector could be dribbling which can wash the oil from the cylinder and you can end up with a lot of damage to that cylinder

on the otherhand run lean..... and burn a whole in your piston, or valves..... very uncool

So no, not a good idea. Dont do it
