OK,

some of my favourites:

- Its a Proper Car - How is it more proper than any of the other cars in the showroom??
- Its got bigger wheels as it has a top speed of 140 mph - Really? really?
- Its the new Williams - Noooo, honestly, it isn't
- Its Turbo Charged - I haven't been told this, but I have heard it of it.

Well being a woman we get some classics thrown at us:
It has mirrors in both the sun visors
It has easily identifiable dipstick & washers bottle caps etc
The paint is a really pretty colour
Not to many dials & buttons etc for you
Plenty of room in the back for shopping !! (that one really pees me off)
Can easily fit a child seat if reqd
etc etc

me: so did my 1.3 fiesta... but that doesnt answer my question, what are the BHP and torque figures??
Dealer:errr... i think its about 275 bhp

That was in a toyota delaer talking about the new corrola compressor or whatever its called. Found out later that day its only 215bhp. He also said

Dealer:They are only making a thousand so it will be really rare.
me: Not as rare as a trophy then?

he got that wrong aswell, as they are actually only making 250 for the uk

off topic, but they didn't think much of them in Evo. Very little torque and cr*p chasis apparently.

yeah i know, i was bored and tried to blag a test drive, to which they said i'd need to be 25, that was after 15mintues of debating if the car could be used for test drives! I walked out at that point, having test driven an imprezza 30minutes earlier, lol.
