Samco Induction bend

Just had a call from a chap at Samco and they are sorting out the tooling for mass production of the silicon bend as shown by timsclio172. They are just checking that the 172 and 182 Dims are similar so that there are no problems for tooling...

They retail for £55 and I was given a contact name of Jeremy at JMC Motorsport (www.jmcmotorsport.co.uk).

Expected to be 3/4 weeks before we can get our hands on them so i'm sure we can show plenty of interest and see if we can get them sooner Don't think a group buy would lower the price as its a new product, but no harm in trying I guess?

I got an email from JMC saying that they would look into lowering the cost for a group buy... Its £55 + VAT at the moment, then £9.50 for UPS or £6.50 with post office.

No probs I saw the pic from Timsclio172 thread and wet my pants with joy So its going into production, thats for sure! I will check again next tues but they are taking pre orders...

I was just curious if there was any interest in this product as JMC are willing for a group buy! Not sure who else will be stocking this item just yet, I'm guessing JMC was recomended by Samco as it is a local motorsport company in South Wales.

I'm in Aus mate but I'm deffo very interested. I know a guy who stocks a fair bit of Samco kit too. -BUT- group buys are my thing so you can kick off the numbers with you and me pal

Samco told me these were going to be alot more expensive than this - Ill find out today what the price is for definate. They told me they would be selling them to the shops for £60 odd plus then their mark up on top

That doesn't sound good

I know their induction pipe for the Impreza is around £200..well made but expensive to make your engine bay look nice.

just to confirm as well before you do a group buy i wouldnt recommend anybody buy one for a ph1 as it doesnt fit right at all, but with a bit of persuasion it goes on and does the job nicely.

lot of development cost for not alot of cars sadly. if you've already bought one you can get it to fit, but if you havent ordered/paid for it i wouldnt bother.
