Samsung TV's are listening to you.

"Samsung has come under fire from privacy campaigners after it emerged the company’s new smart TVs are capable of listening to your conversations.
Viewers hoping to take advantage of the voice activation feature have been warned by Samsung not to disclose personal information because voice recordings can be captured and transmitted to unidentified third parties.

Reports have said that by enabling voice activation in the TV, it will record all conversations it picks up! Pretty grim/scary tbh.
And now it's moved onto this:

"Thought you could watch that video on your local hard drive without ads? Think again: A number of owners of Samsung’s smart TVs are reporting this week that their TV sets started to interrupt their movie viewing with Pepsi ads, which seem to be dynamically inserted into third-party content."

What do we think?

That's going to piss off a lot of people, and likely corporations too..

I got my TV about 3 weeks ago.
I've since been putting the voice recognition thing on and saying "i can't wait until I finally blow that Cameron away".
I've also been saying. "I'd love a free pizza right now"

It appears MI5 and Dominos are not buying the data.
