Sandblasting Calipers

  Track 172 Cup
I have cleaned as much of the crap and old paint and freed off the seized slider on the set of calipers I have bought for attempting to refurbish myself but I think they need sandblasting to bring them up cleaner. Any ideas on what I need to do before I have them blasted as in holes to block up and what with? Blob of silicone in the holes just leave the caliper as a whole as I'm replacing piston/seals and sliders anyway? Or strip everything off them?

cheers.

  dan's cast offs.
old nipples in, bolt in the brake pipe hole and duct tape the inner where the piston sits.
