I did exactly the same thing today at the New Forest Show, and the Recaros feel so much better. And all that for a few grand more.

The RRP of the 225 is nearly £20k. How does that make it cheaper? I'd imagine it also costs slightly more to run too.

I've often heard the 225 criticised for having a "too high" seating position too.

Because they can be had from £13999 for a UK 225Cup, thats a fair bit cheaper than a 197

Yes, but the Meganes been out a good while now. Just wait around a year (or less, possibly), and I can guarantee the Clio will ALWAYS be cheaper.

The £16k price they are at the moment is NOT sustainable.

No, the Megane as the Sport Trendlines (as used in the 182 Trophy). The 197 will have a new design

Yup me too - far more support, felt like a better seat.

The standard 197 seats are fantastic and offer loads of support. I'd still get the Recaros though because I'm a brand *****.
