know this isnt a clio but theres a few saxo owners on here to. Do yas have any idea what would be the problem, ocassionally it wont start. It just turns over and over, when you leave it for a while it fires straight away. When it isnt starting and just turning over, theres a strong smell of petrol? Any ideas?

If fuels getting the cylinders then i would check the plugs are deffo sparking

if its the same as the 106's its usually the immobiliser playing up.

Thats what i was thinking. Theres a clifford alarm on it aswell, maybe be better disconnecting that and trying if for a few days? Is there anyway of disconnecting the factory fitted immobiliser? or has it to be put on the computer to be switched of?
