never had one, never used one, but my old man wants one for xmas.

thought of spending about 50 quid but what is a reasonable spec do you think?

it has to be usb as well. he uses xp and has 256k memory if that makes any difference!

if yer spenidng 50 just pick one that does the most bit rating, also the highe the resolution the btter

chances are for his needs a 30 quid one would be suffiecient.

i looked for one a while ago epson one , but that was 90 quid but it had a 35mm film feed
