I was told by KTec that the schrick cams required a third party ecu to control them, the standard ecu couldn't just be remapped.
That applies to the shricks they are planning on selling though so not sure if they are all like that.
Yep would be even better with a intake manifold reworking as well.
Gains your looking at 20~25hp or so your at about 166 at the moment. SO ust under 200hp a exhaust and decat/sports cat will help get to near 200hp with a correct remap

How much you reckon that would be for the cams, intake manifold reworking and remap? Like 2k?

Good figure. So i'd be looking at a potential 215bhp if the car is circa 195 before the cams?
Costs?
Are the injectors not limited to 208bhp?
I thought a cam package was circa 1.5k from gdi?
I can appreciate that Fred. I thought the 20-25bhp claim was a little bold hence the question re. injectors.Good figure. So i'd be looking at a potential 215bhp if the car is circa 195 before the cams?

doesn't work like that len, its not just "add x amount on to what you already have"
god i hate rolling roads! they cause us SO many problems when a customer comes in! "my car has 190bhp" and they want 200bhp (for example) and then you tell them the price vs the gains, and continue to attemp to inform them that just because a rolling road says you have 190bhp it ain't gospel!
we don't get into power claims, we only ever state before and after results (ie we rr a car before we touch it, and then again after on the same rr)
there is a shirck profile that works with OE managment, you will need to use a map to run them properally.
shrick are good quality

.... but would seperate managment be better?
