Scorpion decat?

Just fitted a Scorpion decat to my Yozza. What a noise!.

There was just one thing I was concerned with. When I tightened up the spring bolts (oem) that join the decat to the manifold the springs looked like they were fully compressed so there would be no movement. It wasn't like that before.

Anyone had the same thing? I undone them a bit for now so theres a bit of slack in the springs, I just hope it doesn't fall off whilst I'm driving lol.

i'll try get some videos this weekend. Like i say, it wont do it justice. The decat was easy to fit, easiest one i've done, the wedge fit type on other motors can be a nightmare to get out on your back lol. The only thing thats a bit annoying is the scorpion decat seems to be a bit longer than the cat and its made my tail pipes stick out further.

Cool good to hear it's an easy fit I will prob go scorpion when I get a decat what size pipe is that decat??
Tail pipes stickin out a little further is a good thing if ur goin for a pops and bangs map because flames do come out the back and the further away from the bumper the better haha

after going on a few drives i think the cat is going to go back on lol, don't get me wrong the decat sounds good but the car feels slower, maybe because its smoothed out the 5k kick it just doesn't feel as aggressive, and i just think the yozza with a decat sounds too much for what the car is lol, all noise and no go. I just have mixed feelings about it. Hmmm

For the record i've got this decat on my yozza and the springs were fairly depressed.

Yozza with standard cat is nice. Not overly loud, just about right. Yozza with decat is a bit mental.

I fitted the rs192 full system with decat and can't feel any noticable difference other than maybe a slightly softer kick at 5k, but it's still noticeable, and after that it just wants to rev harder and longer

According to Fred yozza exhaust systems are quiet though? Even w/ decat

250 miles! I got told an hour of normal driving which is about 60 70 miles :S

i know its ages mate, im sure its 250, if not a little more, mine usually takes a week of day to day driving to adjust to new mods

felt rapid for first ten miles, then settled, but felt fast now n then, then after a week (unsure how many miles) it got its life back, only take it off for mot now

I've done about 250 miles now, and it seems to be getting a bit better. I know the ecu has to adjust to new mods. I had a blast on the way home earlier and I gotta say I loved it lol. I'm gonna leave it on for now and see how I get on. The only thing I don't like is the police in the next county being able to hear when I open it up lol. I'm sure its going to get me in trouble!.

Yozza with cat in is really nice. I would definatly recommend it. I wouldn't get rid of my Yozza for anything!.

i'll try get some at the weekend, anyone had the engine management light come on after the decat was put on? Mine came on, i cleared the code but its back again. I thought the toxic light would come on.

My engine management light comes on almost every other week with the same code, 'efficiency below standard' or something like that. Just clear it and hope I get 2 weeks before having to do it again.

Funnily enough it came on on the way to work this morning.
