Scraping exhaust going onto drive

Recently moved and got a problem with my exhaust constantly scrubbing the concrete 'hump' before I get onto my drive.
Dont want to raise the suspension so was thinking of having some sort of steel guard that fits and protects the exhaust section where it scrapes.
Anyone else had to do similar? Concerned of it creating holes in the system which is something I dont want. Never scrapes any other time.

I assume it’s the cat catching?

Weld a strip of steel with curved up ends like a ski should protect it and not catch on anything.

Only minor issue might be the system moving and causing a failure somewhere but should be enough flex to avoid that.

Surely putting a protective section on will make it worse as that bit will be even lower, causing more pressure to be put on the exhaust when it hits and stressing other bits like the manifold.

My ktec stealth system used adjustable clamps on the centre section mounts rather than welded on ones, this allowed the exhaust to be pushed as high up as possible to reduce the issue

Some exhausts are welded mounts though so you have only 1 fixed position

No cat and the system is pretty high. Its catching at the end of the centre section where it flares out to join the backbox (Milltek 2.5" system).

I had something similar in mind! I'll get under it today and have a proper look. I do run a proper flexi rather than the oem spring bolts so that gives me more room for manoeuvre but then the rest is polybushed

Reversing in does help but still catches every so slightly. Sometimes no room to reverse in either if neighbours are about

It could just be scraping on the clamp which is less of a problem.
I cracked the concrete on the first day as the bolt from the clamp was pointing down lol

Dig a little hole in the middle of the drive where it catches. Easy to fill in when you move again.
