Scratch Removal? How easy?

I'm thinking of buying a 172 Rear bumper. The only problem is the one in question has a few scratches on it:

They look to have gone down to the primer (all the white marks are scratches)
I was just wondering would I be able to repair these scratches myself?
I've been reading a few threads, and looked at a few guides on detailing world, and just wondering how easy it would be to do them, if I filled them with PB paint/Laquer mix, then sanded them down with very high grade paper and polished back up?

I'm just a bit cautious about sanding down the paintwork, and I don't have a machine polisher, so not sure whether I'd be able to polish the sand marks out to make it look good again so they don't stand out.
Also quite wary of the size of them, so Im wary of biting off more than I can chew!

Stone chips can be easy to correct, But those scratches would show up if touched in i think.

The scratches would need a respray imo.

TBH they don't look too bad, more scuffed than scratched by the look of the photo.
i had a mild scratch on my front wing which i got rid of the other day using some Megs Scratch X - i must say i was very impressed with it, originally i doubted its capabilites but i was very wrong.

Get it, Idealy wet sand and machine polish the scuffs, See how good you can get it,

Touch pen in the scratches; thin layers applied till there raised, Leave a week to cure (i would) wet sand flat and polish back up.

See how it looks. If s**t respray.

If you can borrow a machine polisher, Get a £10 touch up pen, Worst comes to worst youve wasted a tenner and 2 weeks. Could come out pretty decent.

But perfect... Respray.

Yea obviously to get it completely perfect it would be a respray.
How much is it these days for a rear bumper respray?!
But I'd just like it so it looks fine apart from closer inspection.

Yea thats what I mean about sanding the whole area, coz there's a few deep scratches it looks like (the white marks) then there's bigger scuff marks.

I don't have a machine polisher, and don't have the knowledge to use one, so it would have to be polished back up by hand. Just not sure if the scratches are too big to be able to fill them up with a touch up, before sanding flush and polishing?

They could be filled, But touch up pen sinks when drying... I touched up a stone chip scrach down to metal, And it must have taken about 15 applications to get it raised enough for sanding.

Results where ok but obvious.

I would wager at prep work and respray being £140-200
