scratched face off - need help please!!!

decided to take the front of my face off apart as had developed a nasty rattle at certain revs - good news is I fixed the rattle but in the process managed to get some fluff on the inside of the display - took it apart again - gave it a wip and now instead of fluff I have scratched the inside of the display - not happy at all.
If no one has any ideas I shall be on the phone to Alpine parts to see if they can sell me a new face off front cover - only held on with 3 screws so piece of piss to change but would prefer to fix mine if possible - any ideas??

People use brasso to fix scratches on the clear plastic on ipods.

You could always try some Meguiars plastic polish, or a product called Plexus from demon tweeks made for Visors on chrash helmets.

isnt brasso for cleaning brass etc? would have thought it would scratch it even worse?
the plexus sounds like it wight work - will look into it now

I thought the same till the guy at work used it on his ipod.

Search on Google for ipod and brasso.

just phoned Alpine and bought a new display - was only £25 so not too bad!
tried various plastic cleaners last night when I got home from work - they get rid of the scratches but make the screen very smokey/blurry so not good - now ive just got to fit the new one without getting any fluff etc between it and the screen - arrggh
