screeching noise

hi just wonderd if anybody could help me. when i accelerate pretty fast and change gear and put accelerator straight back down i hear a screech sound for about a second not really loud quite faint actually just wonderd if anybody has had the same problem or if any1 could tell me what it is.

ive got a 1.4 sport mk2

could be clutch slipping if its worn

it did slip out of reverse a few days ago but i just thought nothing of it because it hasnt happend since so think i just didnt put it in reverse properly :S

Sounds like your maybe sticking it in to quick.

Check/chnage the gearbox oil though.

Could also be fan belt slipping.....cheap options first lol
