My sons 2003 Clio Mk2 has been having problems cutting out when it rains, and we've tracked the problem down to the bright orange seal that has gone that fits on the ecu wiring harness at the back of the engine, as you can see in the photo the seal has broken and so lets water and damp in. Is it possible to get this seal from anywhere on its own without getting the whole connector? The local Renault dealer says we need a whole new loom (well they would, wouldn't they!) and i've seen just the connectors on ebay but don't really want to pay £80 for them when we only need the seals.
Anyone know where I can get these, or any other way to create a waterproof seal in their place?
