Sealant near a windscreen

Is it safe to use say clear silicone etc near a windscreen?

I have a flappy bit at the top and would like to stick it down

yeah but it wont really stick. best to use windscreen sealer or tiger seal. just drive into autowindscreens and ask them but a bit on for you.

think I have some tiger seal handy, just wanted the thumb up as I heard superglue can crack the glass
