Seat Belt Pretensioners Mk2 Ph1 **Help Please**

Hi guys
Ive got a Mk2 Ph1 which has had a bit of a knock which means the drivers air bag has deployed and the paggenger belt pretensioner has recoiled but not the drivers :S . i have sourced an airbag and module for the steering wheel so thats no problem, i seem to remember reading on here a while back about being able to "undo" the pretensioner so its not locked down but i cant find the thread anywhere. im not worried about if it works or not just would like it to look the same as the other side!!
i can get the light turned off for nowt so not worried about that.

Can anybody shed any light on the situation!?

Do you mean the pretensioner as in the one in the buckle at the side of the seat has pulled down or the belt has locked?
