Seat Content - Engine problems (Video Included)

  LY 220 Trophy+IB PH1
Hey everybody

Having a few issues with the leon (Again!) basically after moths of it eating oil it spat the dummy out and mullered its turbo and emptied it's oil reserve through the exhaust !

After having the turbo replaced by the garage and receiving he car back the car is very smoky (almost certain it's the oil in the exhaust) but the engine is also very lump on idle, the movement can be felt inside the car and you can see the engine rock (I tried to capture this in the video but it looks like im moving rather than the engine)

Has anybody any ideas if this is just down to the oil in the exhaust, apparently this type of failure is common on the Audi's/seat's/volk according to the mechanic.

This one is more clear for engine movement (Although it's worse in person)

Smoke is coming from remaining oil in the exhaust and intake system. Give it a good trashing on the motorway. Engine movement: maybe a shot mount? The VAG diesels aren´t the smoothest anyway....

Make sure the mount on the bottom of the engine/gearbox to subframe is tight. This would have been moved to remove the turbo and is what stops the engine rocking.

Other than that....sounds smoother than my 170. Will need a good run to burn off the oil in the exhaust.

Yep, good old high speed run get it nice and hot :)
jump on and off the gas in the rev range that it pulls best in and it should shoot all the s**t out.
could give the old V Power diesel ago also

hmm that smoke is very white....you just have to burn it off but keep any eye on the oil level
