Seat Mechanism

Ok.. I will try and explain this as best as i can lol

My passenger seat doesnt click into place after the seat has been pulled forward.

Had the seat out today, and found that the mechanism at the side nearest to the door isnt working, there is a part that lifts up when the handle on the back of the seat is lifted, and should click back down locking the seat into place, but doesnt, leaving the chair sliding about.

Ive got MOT in a few weeks and Im trying to eliminate anything that could fail the test, this being the main thing that will. Anyone have any ideas? Failing a trip to Reno

i laughed at this im sorry but im just back from picking up 2 from my ren dealer/scrappies for my friend hers is an o6 and the mechanism broke warranty wsnt having any of it!.
20 quid for 2 runners hun.
not bad does the trick 20 minute job all in.
