seat problems

hi i have a clio si 2001 reg and the seat is the one the goes forward backwards up and down.

The forwards and backwords rod doesnt work it has locked the seat into position luckly it is in the correct possition for me to drive, but its getting annoying seen as the car is a three door.

Ive had this problem before in my 1.2 clio but the seat only moved forward and backwards so was easy to spring the lever back in but in this seat it looks as tho it is still in place any help???

i really dont wanna take it to renault because they will charge me an arm and a leg for it.

has the rod come loose from the sliding rails, follow the bar that the handles on under the seat

yer ive had a mechanic look at it that fixed it last time (friend of family) and he couldnt figure it out we took out the rod put it back in and it still wouldnt work??

New sliders idealy just take your seat out and see what wrong not that difficult to get the seats out 4 bolts under the car.

Looking to take the seat out of mine tonight for a similar problem... please tell me it's not bolted from underneath... I've no pit or ramp. Pain in the arse.

It is bolted underneath.

Four rubber caps you need to take off.

Bolts under there.

What Galic nut decided to bolt the seats from underneath. Couldn't get it fixed lastnight.

My forwards/backwards motion of the passenger seat works up to a point going backwards and then seems to get caught/stuck on something.

A little bar with a colored end on it has also come out. I can see where the similar bar is on the drivers side but can't figure out how to get it back in properly.

Very awkward work when the seat is in the car.
