Seat runners...........

..............both front seats do not slide backwards and forwards very well, is this common with the 172's?

Tried WD40 but wondering if grease may help?

I am having a problem with my driver seat...a little black thing inside the runner has popped out and it would push back as far as I would like it.
Could try removing the seats and checking to see if its come out.
