my MOT is miles away, but the wire inside the drivers seat that allows you to pull the seat forward to get in the back has fooowkin snapped.

MOT fail?

im thinking so

If it is an MOT fail, which I don't think it is, just whip the back seats out.

Same happened to me about 4 months ago mate, still havn't got round to getting it fixed..

Put your hand round the back of the seat and you'll feel a metal bar running along horizontally. Give that a good push foward and seat folds foward! Same principle as using the handle, so would have thought it would be fine.

not really bothered bout fixing it tbh everyone gets in the back through the passenger side now. no getting out for me

would have though it was a fail as the rear passengers could only get out of one side incase of emergancies or something along those lines.

will try giving it a good push though. cheers

Lucky you, my passenger seat is the one that's broke lol. Had a quick look, looks like it would be easy to sort anyway - old cable out, new cable in!
