whats the difference between the expression and dynamic and 1.2 16v sport seats?

dynamic and 1.2 16v sports seats have more of bucket to them compared to the expressions plus they look better i think don't think much more different than that but could b wrong

The sport/dynamic seats are the same as the 172 seats except for cloth upholstry over leather/alcantara. The expression seats are a bit more basic with no side bolsters iirc.

Expression seats are better, no problems with wear through the upholstry and you can actually get out of them without lookin like an uber noob!

I was going to reply about them being more like the RS seats but I wasn't sure if I was right and didn't want to be ridiculed!!

expression ones are flat aren't they? dynamique ones have the bits that kind of 'hug' you at the sides (what a gay way of putting it! )

its just that mine cable as snapped on mine seat and i cant be arsed to take the seat apart so i bidded on two front seats from a 2002 expression on ebay and won them fro 99p but now ive found they are not the same as mine

for 99p just use expression seats as donors for parts to fix yours

then visit a scrap yard

mine are bucket style and expression arent plus my handle is low down as for the expression seats are on the top corner!

lol, i know that feeling!! i did get mine for £150 off ebay tho!! but yea, u shud b able to fix the seat with the cable from the new cheap ones, they come apart relatively easy. otherwise relist em, even 99p each and you've doubled ur money!!

ugh, u gotta go to oxford for seats that ain't right? i'd pay the 99p and just leave it! get to a scrappy maybe? i've a passenger seat you can have for free, a runner is bent and the bolsters are worn but if you need parts you can take it.

well, if you want mine, you welcome to it. you'd need to swap the runner and put your covers on it tho. the existing trim is the same as on the interior bits in this old thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=365374&highlight=gmax

tho, i'm guessin yours is a phase 2, which has the recline and slide handle for getting in the rear on the top, right? whereas phase 1 is the side, so it may be useless after all!

well, have a look, see if there's some ph1 interior threads to make sure its the same, if you want it and can be bothered to come to sheffield its urs!! it's been sat in the garage since putting in my 172 interior.

lol, mainly rubbish! my old interior was trashed, i've flogged the wings and anything usable really. still got a battered front bumper lacking splitter, but i think thats about it. oh and a ford focus lol! my car's a 172 rep btw, hence wings/bumper etc.
