As long as you pay cash on collection you can at least check them before handing your money over.

Buying anything second hand is always a risk if you don't see the item before hand, even then you can still get stung.

I've never bought a new set of coilovers, always used. They have always been fine, just check the parts are not seized up and ask how long they've been fitted. And always make an offer ;)

No more of a risk than buying a second hand car which would have come with second hand suspension :D

  An orange one
Old thread bump

Got the chance of some KW V3's for the Clio, they have only been fitted for 500 miles, new RRP is £1536, he's after £1100.

buy new and get full warranty, or go used. No warranty and pay up if one fails / needs repaired etc
