well i just typed in 197 cup on google to make sure before posting the thread and it was the same as i see . private plate on it v4 B** im sure it belongs to a family who have two st focus`s that all have same last 3 letters on there plates .

I saw a Blue 197 yesterday, and to be honest both me and my GF perfer the older shaper. Theres no mean presence with the new one, you cant even tell its a sport aprt from the Big alloys.

So glad we opted for the 182

Have you driven one,mini-valver? IMO its undoubted good qualities can't make up for the gear ratios that cause it to rev out,just when you think you are about to get a sensation of acceleration.

Not driven but been a passenger, Have to agree with the ratios. 6 speed is a marketting gimmick IMO but it's still a quick car! .2seconds slower than a 182 on paper equates to f**k all on the road.....

Harry Metcalfe off EVO mag has been running a 197 long termer and also owns his own Trophy, and I'm afraid barely a month goes past when he doesn't say that it feels gutless. I think it's pretty nice looking though.

Well im not blinkered....i've driven the 197 and i got out of it rather underwhelmed.

Im not against the car though. It looks good. Especially lowered.
I've been considering my options for a car to replace the Cup (if i decide to next year) and im relying on the 197 Cup or Trophy being amazing enough for me to switch.

If not its a Trophy for me.
