Seized Drivers Door Solnoid?

Been off and on since I got the car, but it's not completely seized, the drivers door won't lock with the central locking.

I took the door car off acouple of weeks ago when it was doing it and sprayed WD40 in the lock mechanism and it worked for afew tries. Then it stopped.

So at the moment I'm locking the car with the central locking button, then locking the drivers door manually.

Any advice on what road I should take? Spray more WD40 in there or new solnoid etc?

I got a new solenoid for my boot off someone on here breaking there car. Was only £7. I would just look at doing the same tbh.

No idea on getting the lock mech out of the door though dude, seems tight as hell!

Not sure if it's the same for the door but the solenoid in the boot came apart from the lock mech with one screw and then just unhooked it. Wouldn't have thought you would need to take it all out but I might be wrong...

Alot more space on the boot! Will have a closer luck tomorrow and try and get it out.
