It looks stunning and it's one of the very last Mk1's. Only 20k miles, FRSH and a few nice mods!

If i could get it for the right price... hmmmm!

Or am i being impatient? Should i just wait until next year when i can afford a 54/05 Mk2?

I always slightly prefered the looks of the Mk2 and you get the extra power, better interior blah, blah etc.... I just want a Vee! And this one looks stunning.

Thoughts?

^^^ What he said, be patient and wait, you'll only regret not getting the one you really want! OR....

Get that one, then sell it when you can afford the Mk2 haha!

Aren't mk1's supposed to be evil handling little buggers?? Decided against DC5 then?

Mk1s look more aggressive IMHO. And some dude on V6Clio.net reckons they'll start to appreciate in value soon hehe.

If I was looking for a mk1, i'd go & see that one.

People always say that you can get them for 10k now - yeah you can, but they'll be the sh*t ones with a lot of owners. In my experience you get what you pay for (I paid ore than that for mine) Mines a minter.

As for the handling, no probs at all. If I was to drive like a plum then i'd bin it, but tbh most cars are like that.

mk2 mate just for the looks personally. as said before, dont think handling can be criticised, its a swb rwd hatch back ffs. its not going to be the easiest thing to drive on the limit, take it easy.

One thing I forgot to say - finding a decent vee is a joke tbh (i cansay for mk2's though)
It took me two months. So many sounded good in the ads, yet when I called them up the owners never seemed to have a clue - the common line I got was "I've had it a few months, I only got it to say i'd had one"

Out of the lot, I went to see two silver ones, then mine came up.
I could have had an early mk2, but tbh I prefer the mk1's front end. I also didn't want to blow 16k on a car.

If you prefer the mk2's then be patient and wait. I could buy a mk1 now if I wanted, but I have my heart set on a yellow mk2.

The mk1 was such a dissapointment for many. Its no quicker than your car.And it will drink lots of fuel

listen to that man ^^, v6's are over-rated imo. I've had one and to be honest you get a lot of looks but that's it. The car isn't fantastic. If your a poser go for it.

I'd personally choose a different car. You could have such a good car for the money. Have you gone off the idea of an m3?

  is dirty.
Yeah I supose you could sell your car buy that, then when you have enough money sell that and get a mk2!..This one for the price and mileage and condition seems so so tempting..

Chris - what does it matter, you could get that Vee, then next year get a MK2 - we all know what you are like ;)

  H22A7 Accord Type R
Rich - i think he has opted for the Vee as he is not ready to join the big boys league yet, so the Type R's have to wait.......... ;)

thinking about it, could 'upgrade' to this, then do the same to a mk2 next year as said, then it may feel like an upgrade but you get to move out of that old bland car you have at the minute...

;) :rasp:
